The Government of Canada has announced more than $3.1 million in funding for the Canadian Pork Council to enhance swine health surveillance across Canada. Based at Atlantic Veterinary College, the project will strengthen disease detection and monitoring capabilities, helping protect animal health, support producers, and improve the resilience of Canada's pork sector.
The Atlantic Veterinary College’s (AVC) Class of 2026 has raised approximately $7,000 to support the purchase of new audiovisual equipment for surgical facilities in the College’s Veterinary Teaching Hospital.
