The UPEI Health and Wellness Centre is here to support the physical and mental well-being of our campus community through accessible, collaborative care. Our Nurse Practitioner-led clinic provides patient-focused primary health care to UPEI students, employees, and the partners, spouses, and dependents of employees. Our team of healthcare professionals, including Licensed Practical Nurses, Registered Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Family Physicians, and Specialist Providers, works together to meet your unique health needs. We focus on whole-person care, offering services that promote health, prevent illness, and help manage ongoing health conditions.

We are committed to providing you with the highest quality of care in an environment that values your input and participation in your health care. 

The UPEI Health and Wellness Centre underwent a rigorous review of our services by Accreditation Canada in December 2022. It was recommended by Accreditation Canada that the UPEI Health Centre receive Accreditation Canada's Primer Award and proceed to accreditation with Qmentum in December 2024.
