NIH Summer Internship Opportunities for Veterinary Students

Georgia Veterinary Scholars Program

The University of Georgia is now accepting applications for the Georgia Veterinary Scholars Program, a paid 12 week summer research program for rising 2ndand 3rdyear veterinary students. Please visit the website at https://vet.uga.edu/gvspfor further information on the program.  Applications are due by February 1, 2019. Please note two letters of recommendation are required and one letter must be from a professor at the applicant’s veterinary school. References must provide their feedback by February 7, 2019. 


Colorado State University Veterinary Student Summer Scholar Program

The 2019 Veterinary Student Summer Scholar program at CSU will run from May 20-Aug 2 this year. The application due date is February 8, 2019 at 11:59 PM. Application website and other details can be found here:

Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine Summer Veterinary Research Program

The Boehringer Ingelheim – NIH Veterinary Research Scholar Program at Johns Hopkins University
