Employment and Volunteer Showcases

Monthly Employer and Volunteer Showcases 

Employer and Volunteer Showcases will continue for the winter 2023 academic semester. We believe this model will continue to accommodate employers' and organizations’ time and resources as well as students’ schedules. These showcases will be held via the Zoom platform.

Employer Showcases for the Winter 2023 semester will be held on the following dates from 12:30–1:30 pm:

  • Wednesday, January 25, 2023 (full)
  • Wednesday, February 1, 2023 (full)
  • Wednesday, February 15, 2023 (full)

Volunteer Showcases for the Winter 2023 semester will be held on the following dates from 12:30–1:30 pm:

  • Wednesday, January 11, 2023 (full)
  • Wednesday, February 8, 2023
  • Wednesday, March 15, 2023

Each Showcase will feature five recruiters who will be given 10 minutes each to present. The last 10 minutes of the hour will be for Q and A. Preferences will be given to organizations who are recruiting at the time of the Showcase.

Summer Job Fair 2023

Registration is now open for employers for the UPEI Summer Job and Career Fair on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm (Snow date: Thursday, March 30, 2023, same time). Space at the fair is limited and restricted to employers hiring for 2023 summer jobs and/or looking to hire May 2023 graduates or recent grads. We welcome employers from a wide variety of industries.

Employers surveyed after the 2020 and 2019 UPEI Career Fairs said:

  • 90% said they anticipate that their presence at the fair was helpful for their recruitment efforts
  • “Wonderful communication leading up to and during the event. Lots of details were covered. Well done!”
  • “Students seemed very well prepared. Most came with resumes and a bit of background knowledge on our company.”
