UPEI updates the on- and off-campus community about the recent consultation held regarding the development of a high-performance training facility at the Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre.

Members of the public are invited to attend a free public forum on music education on Saturday, March 28, from 1:00 to 4:15 pm, at the UPEI Performing Arts Centre. The forum is being held to present the findings of the UPEI-led multidisciplinary research project Access to Music Education (AMusE).

The flags in front of the Kelley Memorial Building have been lowered to half-mast in memory of the Honourable Mark McLane, former Minister of Health and Wellness and Minister of Finance, MLA for Cornwall-Meadowbank; UPEI alumnus (BBA ’93); and UPEI Men’s Hockey Panther (1989–92) who passed away on March 17, 2026.

Canadian poet Lorna Crozier will give a public performance of her poetry on Thursday, March 26, at 7:00 pm, in Schurman Market Square, Don and Marion McDougall Hall, UPEI. This event has been rescheduled from March 19.
