University Delay: UPEI will delay opening until 12 noon with a further announcement by 10 am
Due to weather conditions, UPEI is delaying opening until 12 noon at both the Charlottetown and St. Peter’s Bay campuses on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, with a further update by 10 am. The AVC Veterinary Teaching Hospital will remain open for emergencies. When campuses are on a delay or closed, only students in residence housing and essential workers are permitted to be at UPEI locations.
