UPEI updates the on- and off-campus community about the recent consultation held regarding the development of a high-performance training facility at the Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre.

UPEI Curling student-athletes Jack MacFadyen and Ella Lenentine earned the PEI Mixed Doubles title at the Summerside Curling Club on February 22, 2026. They will proudly represent PEI at the Curling Canada national championships in Surrey, British Columbia from March 21–27, 2026.

The University of Prince Edward Island extends heartfelt congratulations to alumnus and former varsity athlete Brett Gallant who captured a gold medal in men’s curling for Team Canada at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy, on February 21.
