UPEI alumni are involved in a group that has recently started a new community school in Charlottetown. The City Centre Community School is a new community school in Charlottetown with a dynamic range of classes starting January 2014. It’s a place to get inspired and learn something new, meet other members of the community, and most of all have fun! We welcome all members of the Charlottetown community and PEI at large to participate in a new selection of courses, starting January 7 at Colonel Gray High School. For ten weeks, instructors with various backgrounds and experience will cover topics ranging from dance and healthy living, to web development and improv acting. With a flat rate of $20 to participate, it’s a great way to learn something new at a low cost. With the help of the Charlottetown community, we hope to grow this school into a place where everyone can learn and make friends, all while building a stronger sense of community for generations to come!
