University Closure: UPEI will close at 12:00 pm on Thursday, February 12
Due to deteriorating weather conditions, UPEI's Charlottetown and St. Peter's Bay campuses will close at 12:00 pm for the day on Thursday, February 12, 2026. The AVC Veterinary Teaching Hospital will remain open for emergencies.
When campuses are closed, only students in residence housing and essential workers are permitted to be at UPEI locations. Download the UPEI SAFE app from the App Store or Google Play to receive push notifications on your device.
