Call for Qualified Case Management Training Facilitators

Are you passionate about supporting professionals who work with diverse client populations?

The Office of Continuing Education and Professional Development (OCEPD) at the University of Prince Edward Island is seeking experienced facilitators to deliver courses within our suite of Case Management Certificate programs — a professional development series designed for those working in human services, social work, healthcare, education, and community outreach.

We’re looking for facilitators with:

Education and Professional Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Nursing, Counselling, or a related field (Master’s preferred, or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of direct experience in case management, client services, social support coordination, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of case management models, client-centred approaches, trauma-informed practice, and ethical decision-making.
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations (e.g., Indigenous communities, newcomers, individuals with disabilities, or those experiencing mental health or addiction challenges) is considered an asset.

Instructional Experience and Skills

  • Experience facilitating workshops, training sessions, or post-secondary courses — online or in-person.
  • Ability to create an engaging, inclusive, and supportive adult learning environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Capacity to share real-world insights and foster meaningful professional dialogue.
  • Commitment to cultural competency, accessibility, and equity in adult education.

About the Program

Our suite of Case Management Certificate programs (the Certificate in Case Management; Certificate in Case Management – Specialization in Health Care; and the Certificate in Case Management – Advanced Collaborations in Care) equips professionals with the tools to effectively coordinate care, support clients through complex systems, and collaborate across disciplines. Learners gain practical, applicable strategies to strengthen outcomes and enhance service delivery.
