Recognizing our Founders is an opportunity to honour those who have worked diligently and passionately to build the University into the highly regarded institution of higher education it is today. Nominations for the 2025 Founders are being accepted until 11:59 pm, January 14, 2026. 

Nominations for honorary degrees (to be presented during 2026 Convocation ceremonies) will be accepted until Monday, January 12, 2026, at 11:59 pm.

With winter championships on the horizon and playoff races tightening across the board, UPEI’s varsity teams return to action this week looking to make some noise.
