PEI Energy Systems has identified a leak in the district heating lines at the Health Sciences Building branch. In order to repair the line it will require a shutdown of the heating system and domestic hot water for the Health Sciences Building (cold water is not impacted). This shutdown is scheduled for Saturday, April 1, 2017 beginning at 7:00am and is expected to take approximately 8 hours to complete.

To do the repair PEI Energy Systems will be required to excavate an area on the south side of the Health Sciences Building, as of a result the access road between the Health Sciences Building and SDU Main Building will be closed.

Facilities Management apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Jackie MacPhail at jmacphail@upei.ca 902-566-6034 or Troy Gallant at trogallant@upei.ca, 902-566-6033.
