August 2024

Friday, August 30

• Residence Move-in, 9:00 am–8:00 pm.
• First meal at the Wanda Wyatt Dining Hall, Time TBA.

September 2024

Wednesday, September 4 

• Classes begin for the Fall term.

Monday, September 30

• National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. No classes.

October 2024

Monday, October 14

• Thanksgiving. No classes.

Tuesday, October 15–Friday, October 18

• Mid-term Break. No classes.

November 2024

Friday, November 1

• Residence applications open for September 2025 and January 2026.

Friday, November 25–Thursday, December 1

• Apply for an extension or to stay over the Winter break.

December 2024

Thursday, December 5

• Last day of Fall term classes.

Tuesday, December 10–Thursday, December 19

• Examinations. All residence rooms should be vacant within 24 hours after a student's final exam unless a student has made prior arrangements for a move-out extension, or has made a holiday break accommodation request (certain restrictions apply). Information about how to apply for a temporary extension will be made available in mid-November.

Monday, December 23

• End of Fall term.
• Residence closes for Winter break. Students may apply for extensions or to stay for the Winter break.

January 2025

TBC, January

• Students can return to residence for the Second (Winter) term.
• First meal at the Wanda Wyatt Dining Hall, Time TBC.

Monday, January 6

• Winter term classes begin.

February 2025

Monday, February 17

• Islander Day. No classes.

Tuesday, February 18–Friday, February 21

• Mid-term break. No classes.

April 2025

Friday, April 4

• Final Day of Winter term classes.

Wednesday, April 9–Wednesday, April 23

• No exams will be held April 14-21.
• Examinations. All residence rooms should be vacant within 24 hours after a student's final exam unless a student has made prior arrangements for a move-out extension. Information about how to apply for a temporary extension will be made available by mid-March.
