Performing Arts Centre and Residence
UPEI's Performing Arts Centre and Residence opened in September 2023, built in cooperation with the 2023 Canada Winter Games. The building features two towers of residence apartments and lounges with classroom space and a 400-seat auditorium on the main floor. The south tower is five stories and the north tower is nine stories, with views to the ocean on all sides.
This building houses primarily undergraduate students, and is available on a first come first served basis. Applications open November 1.
Some apartments are furnished with a kitchen and would be well suited for returning students or those who enjoy cooking. Other apartments have a kitchenette and provide a great option for first-year students. You can cook when you feel like it, but you have a meal plan to ensure you have lots of time to study and prepare for your classes.
