UPEI Calendar Dates

Calendar dates for students include "General Dates", which apply to all UPEI programs except Bachelor of Education and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. "Veterinary Medicine (DVM) Dates" apply to Doctor of Veterinary Medicine students and faculty only.

All "Calendar Dates" are divided by semester during the academic year, and by session during the summer.

All Fall semester fees due
National Day for Truth and Reconciliation - no classes
Thanksgiving Day - no classes
Mid-semester break - October 13–16 - no classes
Last day for discontinuing courses – 50% tuition refund
Remembrance Day - no classes
Final date to apply to graduate, Winter semester
Final day of Fall semester classes
Exams - Fall semester (December 11–20)
End of Fall semester
First day of classes - Winter semester (except DVM and BEd)
Final day to register, change or cancel courses with full refund - Winter semester
All Winter semester fees due
Islander Day - no classes
Registration begins for 2027 Summer semester
Mid-semester break - February 16–19 - no classes
Last day for discontinuing courses – 50% tuition refund
Good Friday - no classes
Easter Monday - no classes
Final Day of Winter Semester Classes
End of Winter semester
