We're here to help! UPEI faculty and staff members can assist you with services and information specifically for students.
If public health or your health care provider suspects you have COVID-19 or you are experiencing a respiratory illness including coughing, fever, feeling feverish, chills/shakes, breathing difficulty, chest tightness, or chest congestion, please visit the PEI Government’s contact information for inquiries about COVID-19.
You can chat with Robertson Library staff by visiting https://library.upei.ca/ and clicking the "Ask Us" icon on the grey bar at the top of the page. When the service is offline, there are other ways to get help:
- Call the Service Desk 902-566-0583 during library open hours.
- Walk up to the Service Desk in person in the library.
- Make an appointment with a subject librarian.
- Email firstname.lastname@example.org
- Read the appropriate subject guide.
- View one of our online tutorials.
Are you having difficulty with a certain subject? Do you require course material explained in an alternate way? Do you need help with organization and time management? If so, a tutor can help you reach your academic potential and goals.
A tutor can help you:
- Improve your grades
- Improve your attitude toward a subject
- Increase your self esteem
- Keep you focused and organized
The UPEI Writing Centre is offering online tutoring (eTutoring) and, when available, in-person tutoring in Room 274 in the Robertson Library. For the most up-to-date information on their availability, and to make appointments, register at upei.mywconline.com.

Academic advisors can play a critical role in promoting students success and, as a result, help to retain them. Students who feel connected to an institution, feel cared about, understand their purpose, and have clear academic and career goals are more apt to persist in their academic endeavours.
Email firstname.lastname@example.org to book an academic advising appointment.
