After graduating in May of 2023, Humphrey is currently working as a catering manager for a PEI food services company. He plans to become a food scientist in the near future.

Ethan Taweel, a UPEI Bachelor of Environmental Studies graduate (Class of 2021), works as a Senior Environmental Technician and Project Coordinator with the PEI Department of Environment.

"Becoming a dietitian has been so rewarding... if a student is considering this career path, UPEI can help guide them there."

Deidre Kelly works as an interpreter on Parliament Hill in Ottawa, providing simultaneous interpretation from French into English at committee meetings, press conferences, caucus meetings and sittings of the Senate and the House of Commons.

Trish Van Bolderen lives in Dublin, Ireland and works full-time as a freelance translator (from French and Spanish into English) and English-language reviser. She also works as a Translation Studies scholar, having obtained a PhD in that area.

From student-athlete to senior administrator, Jane Vessey shares her ongoing UPEI journey.

UPEI bachelor of science in nursing graduate Kevin Ryan’s career came via the route of Alberta oil fields, office jobs, and many days on the road. Now he’s settled back in PEI with a career as a nurse and a new perspective on work mobility.
