Environmental Studies Seminar

Join Dr. Brad Walters, Mount Allison University, for a special seminar presented by the Science Graduate Studies Committee. The seminar is entitled: Do Property Rights Matter for Conservation? Family Land, Forests and Trees in St. Lucia, West Indies, and will take place on Thursday, June 19 at 3:30 pm in Don and Marion McDougall Hall, room 246. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Pathology and Microbiology Seminar

Staff and faculty are invited to join Dr. Ben Sutherland, Université Laval, QC for a seminar entitled: "Comparative transcriptomics in salmonids and their parasites: predictive smoltification markers and drug resistance traits." Psychology Public Presentation

The Department of Psychology invites members of the campus community--students, faculty, and staff, and those in the wider local community to attend a public presentation by Dr. Tracy Doucette, a candidate for the tenure-track position in Behavioural Neuroscience. The presentation will take place on Monday, June 23 from 1:00 - 2:00 pm in room 215, Memorial Building. Dr. Doucette's presentation is entitled: "Schizophrenia: A Uniquely Human Disease?" Womens Soccer vs. MtA

Come out and support the women's soccer team as they take on Mount Allison University this weekend at 5:00 pm on the UPEI turf field. Cox and Palmer is presenting a special “UPEI Alumni Night” on Friday, September 12. All UPEI alumni will be granted free admission to the soccer games this weekend; drink and food specials will be available at The Wave prior to, and after the games; and a licensed beer garden will be available during the games. Alumni in attendance will also be entered to win a Panther prize pack from the UPEI Alumni Office. This will be a great chance for UPEI alumni to reconnect with former classmates and teammates, and cheer on this year's UPEI Panther student-athletes.
