If your test results are abnormal or unexpected, we will call you.

Generally, we encourage you to make a follow-up appointment to review your test results. This ensures that nothing is missed and you have closure regarding your results. If results warrant a more urgent follow-up, we will contact you to return to the clinic.

You can email or phone the Health and Wellness Centre to book a time with the nurse to review your results.

The current UPEI Health and Wellness Centre protocol for record retention is to securely store the record for 10 years (10 years + the "age of majority" for minors). After ten (10) years of inactivity, the records are then destroyed via the vendor used by the university to destroy confidential documents.
