Every spring, the University of Prince Edward Island holds ceremonies to award degrees and diplomas to its graduating students.
In a message to the University community on February 28, Dr. Greg Keefe, interim resident and vice-chancellor announced that Convocation ceremonies would proceed in person for 2022, subject to PEI Chief Public Health Office protocols in place at the time.
We look forward to celebrating the Class of 2022 during ceremonies in the UPEI Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre over four days in May:
May 10—Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Faculty of Nursing
May 11—Faculty of Business and Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering
May 12—Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Education, and Faculty of Graduate Studies (Master in Global Affairs)
May 13—Faculty of Science
Each ceremony will take place at 10:00 am.
We are happy to be planning in-person ceremonies after a two-year absence, but assure you that we are keeping the health and safety of our campus community top of mind. Additional information regarding the ceremonies and related events, tickets, regalia, and safety measures, etc. will be added to the upei.ca/convocation web pages as it becomes available.
