Canada Student Grant for Students with Permanent Disabilities

Accessibility Services can provide assistance with provincial grant applications for equipment and services for students with permanent disabilities. Information and eligibility on Canada student grants for students with permanent disabilities is located on the CanLearn website.

There are two main grants available: 

  1. Canada Student Grant for Students with Disabilities: Provides funding (up to $2,800 per year) to help with the general costs of post-secondary education.  
  2. Canada Student Grant for Services and Equipment – Students with Disabilities: Provides additional funding to help cover exceptional education-related costs for things like assistive technology, tutors, or note-takers.
