In this update, the University advised the UPEI community that it has received "Notice to Bargain" from CUPE 501 and the UPEI Faculty Association, Bargaining Unit #1.

In this update on collective bargaining, UPEI announces that the University and IBEW 1928 have reached a tentative agreement, subject to ratification.

UPEI began negotiations towards a new collective agreement with IBEW 1928 on March 9. We will continue to update the UPEI community throughout the collective bargaining process.
