Student Culture and Community Standards
The Office of Student Culture and Community Standards is a dynamic, student-centered unit, established in response to the university’s growing and increasingly diverse student population. Rooted in the values of community, inclusion and accountability, the Office is dedicated to creating a vibrant student culture and enriching the overall student experience by building a supportive, and engaging campus environment where every student feels heard, valued, connected, and empowered to thrive.
The Office plays a vital role in building and sustaining a positive student culture by promoting community standards, supporting student well-being, amplifying student voices and hosting a variety of activities and events throughout the year to bring community together.
In all its work, the Office of Student Culture and Community Standards seeks to create a campus where students not only thrive academically, but also grow as respectful, engaged members of the Panther community.
Our mission: To cultivate a dynamic and inclusive student culture by fostering connection, pride, and belonging across our university community. We champion student voices, celebrate diversity, and create spaces and experiences that enrich campus life beyond the classroom.
Our vision: A campus where every student feels a deep sense of belonging, well-being and Panther pride—where traditions are honoured, new cultures are embraced, and student life is vibrant, visible, and unified across all corners of the university.
