If you are an adult amateur brass or woodwind musician who would like to spend the weekend with like-minded community musicians and receive coaching from faculty members of the UPEI Department of Music, join us in mid-October!

Steel Building, UPEI campus

The weekend workshops will include:

• Large group sessions
• Like-instrument sessions (e.g., flute class, low brass class, etc.)
• Mixed-instrument sessions (e.g., mixed quintets)
• Workshops on special topics (e.g., breathing and technique classes)
• Faculty recital
• Final performance by participants
• Social time

Friday, October 17

• 6:00–9:00 pm — Workshops

Saturday, October 18

• 9:00 am–12:00 pm — Workshops
• 12:00–1:00 pm — Lunch
• 1:00–4:30 pm — Workshops
• 5:00 pm — Faculty recital
• 6:30 pm — Dinner and social time at local restaurant (cost not covered by program fee)

Sunday, October 19

• 10:00 am–12:30 pm — Workshops
• 12:30 pm — Lunch
• 2:00 pm — Participant recital

Program fee

• $200 + HST, payable in advance at upei.universitytickets.com.
