Olympian Heather Moyse: "Every Little Bit Counts"

Everyone is invited to attend the University 100 Vern Smitheram and Andy Robb Leadership Development Talk - Fall 2015   Wednesday, October 21, 1:30-2:45pm, AVC Lecture Theater A    "Every Little Bit Counts: Maintaining Wellness as a Leader"  delivered by PEI's Wellness Ambassador Olympian Heather Moyse.   As part of this event Heather will engage with the audience through an informal question period and be available for photos.   The University 100 Vern Smitheram and Andy Robb Leadership Development Series is an opportunity to engage the community in important conversations about the theory and practice of leadership.

Speaker: Peter Rukavina, Robertson Library’s Hacker in Residence Date: Thursday, October 22, 2015 Time: 7:00 pm Place: Robertson Library, Rm 312 (Upper Level) The speaker will present a tour of his work in open data/open government over the last decade, including provincial and municipal examples, and focusing on how open data can be used by citizens to good end.

Come learn about societies, organizations, groups and companies devoted to providing an inclusive environment! 6pm-8pm The 6th Annual Candlelight Vigil Against Homophobia and Bullying in MacMillan Hall Keynote Speaker:  Steven Little from http://www.the519.org/ in Toronto. Steven Little will present an interactive session on the importance of not being a bystander. High School students, University students, and Community members will share their experiences with bullying and the importance of creating an inclusive environment where people are respected. 8pm-9:30pm Diversity Trivia (19+) hosted by the SDO and Get Real UPEI in The Wave.
