SEASON PREVIEW: UPEI Men’s Hockey Panthers poised for big things in national championship season
The 2022–23 season promises to be like no other for the UPEI Men’s Hockey program, and if the pre-season was any indication, it could be a successful one as well.
The Panthers are coming off an impressive exhibition slate that included wins against the Ottawa Gee-Gees and the Carleton Ravens, and a tough 1-0 loss against the University of Maine Black Bears, whose hockey program is known for some remarkable runs in the NCAA tournament.

This in-person workshop will introduce participants to a range of best practices and tips that will help them present material in a clearer and more engaging way. Participants will have time to practice some of these strategies within the space of the workshop in order to get more comfortable with public speaking.
Resume Writing Hands-On Workshop
A hands-on workshop for UPEI students to learn best practices to apply to their own resume. Join Experiential Education staff to work on your resume with real-time support. We'll let you know what employers are looking for and what will help your application stand out against the competition. You'll make changes as we go to come out of the workshop with a resume that sets you up for success!

Former Mount Academy Saints trio earn spots on UPEI Women’s Hockey roster
After a successful showing at training camp, three former Mount Academy Saints—Rachel Richards, Orianna MacNeil, and Kierra St. Peter—have earned their way on to the UPEI Women’s Hockey roster.
“We all took notice of their skill, work ethic, habits, and level of play,” said head coach Sean Fisher. “Where they are at in their development is a testament to the program they come from, and the coaching Kenny MacDougall provides at the Mount Academy. I think all three will be strong U SPORTS players for the foreseeable future.”
Volunteer Showcase: Volunteer Opportunities Information Session
Looking for volunteer experience? Throughout the Fall 2022 and Winter 2023 semesters, UPEI Career Services will host monthly virtual sessions called Volunteer Showcases. This showcase will feature presentations by organizations that are seeking student and recent graduate volunteers. Attend any of these sessions to network and learn about opportunities directly from recruiters.
