The UPEI Experiential Education department and UPEI Career Services host an annual Career Fair inviting students to learn about employment opportunities in our region. The Fair will feature employers from various industries that are hiring students for full-time, part-time, or seasonal positions.
The Fair will include several virtual lunchtime events with live employer presentations and Q&A sessions. There will also be information sheets on each employer, and a YouTube playlist of pre-recorded videos.

Bowering, Ankra named UPEI Panther Subway Athletes of the Week
Every week, UPEI Athletics and Recreation recognizes two student-athletes for their achievements and dedication to their respective sports. This week’s UPEI Panther Subway Athletes for February 28 to March 6 are Alicia Bowering (women’s basketball) and Isaiah Ankra (men’s basketball).

AVC team brings home awards in AVMA Animal Welfare Assessment Contest
The Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC), University of Prince Edward Island, is proud to congratulate a team of five first-year Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) students who recently participated in the American Veterinary Medical Association’s (AVMA) virtual Animal Welfare Assessment Contest. The team of Brianna Forbes, Devyn Enwright, Alyssa McGee, Lily Mitchell, and Amy Stoyles placed first in the veterinary division interactive assessment and placed fourth overall in the veterinary division.
Productivity Tips and Tricks for Students Workshop (Virtual)
This session for students is offered through the UPEI Career Services department, and hosted by Jodi LeBlanc. Jodi LeBlanc is a productivity enthusiast who uses a host of different productivity tools. Her presentation will cover topics including Pomodoro, "email jail," do the hardest thing first, break things into microtasks, tools like Trello and Focusmate, essentialism, time tracking, and finding what works best for you. These tools will help individuals work smarter, not harder, and will help maximize their time and efforts.
