Beloved bald eagle leaves Atlantic Veterinary College
It was a morning of mixed emotions at the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC), as the AVC’s Wildlife Service prepared to bring bald eagle 450, otherwise known as “Buddy,” to his new home at Hope for Wildlife.
Virtual Information Session: "Starting at UPEI this semester? Here's everything about your courses you need to know!"
The UPEI International Student Office is hosting a virtual information session (on Zoom) for those new students starting at UPEI in January.
Hosted by First Year Adviser and Recruiter, Chloe Arlapen, attendees will receive information regarding how to register for courses, course waitlists, how to adjust or switch your courses, and how to use Moodle.
No registration required.
UPEI Women's Hockey Panthers Exhibition Game
The UPEI Women's Hockey Panthers will host an exhibition game at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, January 4 against the St. Thomas University Tommies at MacLauchlan Arena.

UPEI welcomes public to its first New Year's Levee since 2020
Festive greetings and good wishes filled the air as guests were welcomed to the New Year’s Levee held by the University of Prince Edward Island and the UPEI Alumni Association on Sunday, January 1, 2023. Shown here: Dr. Greg Keefe, interim president and vice-chancellor, shares a chuckle with former UPEI Student Union president Emma Drake, who now lives and works in Ottawa. The well-attended event, which took place in the Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering Building, was the first levee held at UPEI since 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
