The School of Mathematical and Computational Sciences at the University of Prince Edward Island has an opening for a sessional instructor during the forthcoming Winter 2027 semester. These positions are subject to final budgetary approval.

Please note: the course offered below will be taught in person, unless otherwise specified as an online course.


MCS 4950 – Videogame Capstone

Students will work as a team to develop a video game.

Pre-requisites: CS-4360, CS-4650 and CS-4810. Students must be enrolled in the Major in Computer Science with a Specialization in Videogame Programming.

Three lecture hours per week.

Time: M/W/F 3:30 p.m. – 4:20 p.m.


Qualifications:

Successful applicants should hold a master's degree in Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science/Computational sciences or a related field, or an equivalent combination of qualifications and experience.

Applicants should have experience in teaching, research or industry practice related to the course content.
