Clinical Pathology
Clinical Pathology is a select division of general pathology concerned with the diagnosis and monitoring of diseases based on the examination and analysis of various bodily fluids, including blood, urine and secretions, and various tissues through chemical, microbiological, immunological and microscopic methods. Information generated from the Clinical Pathology section is central to the majority of routine and emergency medical decisions. Clinical Pathology is also responsible for the precision and accuracy of test results and plays a key role in laboratory quality assurance.
