Training
First Aid and CPR
First Aid and CPR courses are offered regularly at UPEI as it is important to have employees trained in First Aid/CPR throughout campus. Strategically located First Aid kits are also available within each Department.
UPEI Campus Security Services personnel are trained in First Aid and the UPEI Security/Police Vehicle is always equipped with an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and First Aid supplies. If you call (902) 566-0384 from a cell phone or 0384 from any UPEI landline you will be connected with Police/Security Dispatch who will immediately dispatch a UPEI Security Services team member to your location or inform external emergency responders as appropriate (if the caller did not contact 9-1-1).

Please contact the Health, Safety and Environment Department to register for upcoming courses. Most courses will be offered via external providers on an as-needed basis.
