Red Rock Classic
The Department of Athletics and Recreation are pleased to host the Red Rock Classic at the Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre. The 6th annual basketball tournament will see 30 teams in men’s and women’s divisions including development, competitive and open. We look forward to a great weekend of summer basketball.

The Robertson Library is hosting the annual “Islandora Camp” that brings together representatives from institutions that are developing and working with the Islandora repository software.
Biennial Conference of the Deaf
Hosted by the Eastern Canadian Association of the Deaf, this year’s convention expects to welcome over 200 delegates from Atlantic Canada for formal meetings and social events.

The Department of Athletics and Recreation is pleased to host the Atlantic Track and Field Championship at the UPEI Alumni Canada Games Place, July 25-26.
Celebration of Student Success
The Celebration of Student Success (formerly Deans’ Honours Night) for the faculties of Arts and Science will be held on Monday, October 5 at 7:00 pm in the Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre. At this prestigious event, students who are on the Dean’s List for the 2014-15 Academic Year, will be presented with a certificate recognizing their accomplishments. Students will be invited in September after summer session marks are submitted--more information will be posted at that time.
Welcome Day - NSO 2015
On Saturday, September 5th from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM, UPEI welcomes all new students and their families to campus before classes begin. Welcome Day is a chance to tour UPEI’s campus, pay for tuition and other services, pick up your ID card, kick-off NSO 2015, shop at the Bookstore, meet some faculty and staff at UPEI, meet some of your UPEI Student Union Representatives and of course, make new friends!
Join the hub of activity in McMillan Hall in the W.A. Murphy Student Centre where you will find representatives from Residence Services, the Registrar’s Office, the Accounting Office, Student Affairs, the Student Union, Webster Academic Services and many more!
