COVID-19 measures at UPEI: in-person classes, events, Convocation cancelled
UPEI has announced a number of measures over the past several days in response to the rapidly evolving COVID-19 pandemic. In-person classes, labs, and exams have been cancelled. All University events are cancelled until at least April 30. Convocation 2020 has been cancelled.

Message to UPEI Students regarding COVID-19

2020 U SPORTS Women’s Hockey Championship cancelled due to COVID-19
In a joint release issued late Thursday night, the University of Prince Edward Island and U SPORTS, the governing body for university sport in Canada, announced the cancellation of the 2020 U SPORTS Women’s Hockey Championship. READ THE OFFICIAL STATEMENT
The decision was prompted by Hockey Canada, which announced earlier that all sanctioned hockey activities were being cancelled effective March 13. The U SPORTS University Cup, the men’s championship taking place in Halifax, was also cancelled.
