Salary:

$14.50 per hour, plus 4% vacation pay

Term:

May 1, 2023 to May 31, 2024 (With the possibility of extension depending on student eligibility and performance)

The UPEI Bookstore is seeking applicants for up to six (6) positions of Student Assistant Sales Associates for the 2023/24 academic year.  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Handle cash and operate point-of-sale terminal
  • Refunds and exchanges
  • Wait on customers
  • Restock inventory
  • Other related duties

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Enrolled as a UPEI student
  • Retail related experience would be an asset

Priority will be given to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and the Procedures manual.
