Student Assistant - Ambassador Coordinator - UPEI Entrepreneurship Centre
$18.70 per hour, plus 4% vacation pay
September 1, 2026 – April 16, 2027
The Student Assistant - Ambassador Coordinator is a paid position that oversees and assists with the responsibilities of the volunteer Student Ambassador roles within the Catherine Callbeck Centre for Entrepreneurship (CCCE). The Student Assistant - Ambassador Coordinator reports to the Manager of Entrepreneurship and works closely with the Entrepreneurship Program Officer and Entrepreneurship Program Coordinator to aid the growth, impact, and tracking of events, programs, supports, and initiatives of the CCCE.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Schedule booth shifts for other ambassador team members
- Support planning and executing the Ambassador Team Event schedule for the academic year
- Support social media planning and oversee the CCCE Instagram and other platforms as required
- Support ambassador team members with their events through check-ins and meetings, and assist them with their concerns
- Lead a team of Ambassadors to ensure their responsibilities and tasks are being fulfilled
- Support and help deliver promotional material for the CCCE
- Attend scheduled staff meetings with the CCCE staff
- Attend and participate in scheduled training sessions
- Other duties in assisting with the delivery and promotion of the CCCE Programs as they arise throughout the year
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a current UPEI student
- Outgoing, friendly personality with ability to provide excellent customer service including excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented
- Experience using social media platforms and digital media design tools (Instagram, LinkedIn, Canva, etc.)
- Experience with office administrative duties would be an asset
- Experience with Google docs, Sheets & Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Priority will be given to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and the Procedures manual.
