As an Employee Engagement Officer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction, motivation, and retention. Your role will involve creating programs and activities that promote a positive work environment, strengthen employee relationships, and support the overall well-being of our university community. You will collaborate with the HR team, leadership, employees, and unions to cultivate a culture of engagement and excellence within the university.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and implement employee engagement programs and initiatives
  • Conduct surveys and assessments to measure employee satisfaction and engagement levels
  • Implementation and administration of an employee exit interview process.
  • Develop strategies to enhance communication and collaboration among faculty and staff
  • Organize events, workshops, and activities to promote team building and morale
  • Provide support and resources to promote work-life balance and well-being
  • Work with leadership to address employee feedback and improve engagement strategies
  • Support work related to evaluations

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field
  • Proven experience in employee engagement, organizational culture, or HR development
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and build relationships.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to engagement initiatives
  • Knowledge of best practices in employee engagement and retention
