The Office of Recruitment and International Relations is looking for an energetic and motivated individual to join our team. We are seeking applications from qualified individuals to provide administrative support to the recruitment office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position will provide administrative support to the recruitment team within the Recruitment and First Year Advising Office and International Student Office in the Student Experience Hub. The position will work closely with domestic and international recruiters to provide information relevant to the university’s recruitment and retention efforts to high schools, students, parents, agents and the campus community.

  • Provide general administrative support to recruitment and reception services to the area
  • Process campus tour requests for individuals and groups
  • Answer prospective student inquiries and provide updates on student application and admissions status for both domestic and international students by emails or phone
  • Process and sort student requests on a CRM platform, Zendesk
  • Reply to social media requests on application and admissions questions
  • Mentor and supervise a team of student assistants in the Recruitment and International Student Office
  • Assist recruiters/advisers and NSO team with financial claims and expenses
  • Ship recruitment materials to school counselors and prospective students with support from the recruitment team
  • Enter and maintain student information and leads in university CRM/Recruit systems
  • Schedule advisement, prospective student and registration appointments
  • Participate in admissions update consultation and provide feedback to the team
  • Room bookings for meetings and on campus events
  • Perform other related duties as required for efficient functioning of the office   

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Grade 12 graduation and completion of a post-secondary program in a related office program with related office experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to accomplish tasks under pressure
  • Comprehensive knowledge and skills in word processing, email, internet, database management and spreadsheets
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize task in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with the university environment, experience with CRM software, and familiarity with academic regulations and procedures would be considered assets
