The Faculty of Nursing, University of Prince Edward Island, is now accepting applications for a full-time Clinical Nursing Instructor position. The instructor will provide direct clinical supervision to undergraduate students in the Faculty of Nursing, Learning Resource Centre and in clinical practice environments. This appointment is subject to final budgetary approval.

Qualifications:

BScN or BN, current registration or eligibility for registration with College of Registered Nurses of Prince Edward Island (CRNPEI) and at least 3 years of full-time clinical experience. Expertise in adult medical surgical nursing and/or psychomotor skill development is required. Previous experience in teaching and clinical supervision of students would be an asset. Valid driver’s license required.

Term:  Term full-time position from December 11, 2023 – December 11, 2024

Hours:  37.5 hours per week, involves days and evening shift work

Salary: $46.75 + 6% VP per hour in accordance with the Collective Agreement between the University of Prince Edward Island Board of Governors and The University of Prince Edward Island Faculty Association Bargaining Unit #1
