The UPEI Health Research Network (HRN) is seeking a summer graduate student to conduct statistical analysis and support HRN website development and maintenance. The successful applicant will be expected to conduct data analysis; write reports; attend weekly Network meetings; manage the Network website and social media accounts; and work in fast-paced, team-based environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze quantitative data, knowledge of statistical analysis, that examines gaps and barriers to health services by families in PEI under the supervision of the project PI
  • Manage the Health Research Network social media pages and create content
  • Work in a fast-paced, team environment located on the UPEI campus
  • Write reports and assist with grant applications
  • Able to work independently with minimal direct supervision

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be a graduate student UPEI and enrolled in the 2023/2024 academic year
  • Preference will be given to a graduate student with expertise in statistical analysis using the SAS program and experience with web design
  • Knowledge of executing complex statistical designs (e.g., regression analysis, etc)
  • Knowledge of web design and content development
  • Comfortable with managing social media accounts
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Able to work independently and on campus
