The Faculty of Nursing, University of Prince Edward Island, is now accepting applications for a full-time Clinical Nursing Instructor position. The instructor will provide direct clinical supervision to undergraduate students in long-term care settings across the province.

Direct clinical supervision of students will also be required in the Faculty of Nursing, Learning Resource Centre, direct clinical supervision of students in primary health care settings including long-term care. This appointment is subject to final budgetary approval.

Qualification:

BScN or BN, current registration or eligibility for registration with College of Registered Nurses of Prince Edward Island (CRNPEI) and at least 3 years of full-time clinical experience. Expertise in long-term care is required. Previous experience in teaching and clinical supervision of students in would be an asset. Experience in acute/inpatient medical surgical settings also an asset. Valid driver’s license required.

Hours:  37.5 hours per week, involves days and evening shift work

Salary: $44.07 per hour in accordance with the Collective Agreement between the University of Prince Edward Island Board of Governors and The University of Prince Edward Island Faculty Association Bargaining Unit #1

Start Date: January 3, 2023
