Sessional Instructors - Department of Music - Faculty of Arts (Winter 2019)
The Department of Music at the University of Prince Edward Island invites applications for a sessional instructor to teach the following course in the Winter 2019 semester (January – May 2019). These positions are subject to final budgetary approval.
MUSIC 3470 / 3480: String Techniques
This course provides group instruction in violin, viola, cello, and bass. Students familiarize themselves with materials used in teaching these instruments.
Qualifications:
Successful applicants will have at least a Master’s degree in Music plus evidence of effective teaching of string instruments at the university level.
Preference will be given to qualified candidates with seniority on the UPEI Sessional Roster in the academic unit.
