Student Research Assistant - Faculty of Education
April 15 – June 15, 2018
Faculty of Education is seeking applicants for one research assistant position to assist with a research project examining the impact of community service learning on international graduate students.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and conduct online surveys
- Assist with data collection through surveys and interviews
- Organize and transcribe interviews
- Assist with research report writing
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be currently enrolled in Faculty of Education’s M.Ed. Global Perspective Program
- Must demonstrate experiences and skills in research
- Experience with qualitative and quantitative research software (e.g NVivo; Google Forms; Lime Survey, Survey Monkey, SPSS, etc.) would be considered an asset
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Experiences with community service learning preferred
- Applicants with additional language skills preferred
- Applicants must possess strong cross-cultural understanding and competency
Priority will be given to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and the Procedures manual.
