The Department of Music at the University of Prince Edward Island invites applications for a sessional instructor in Applied Clarinet for the 2023-2024 academic year. These positions are subject to final budgetary approval.

Please note: the courses offered below will be taught in person, unless otherwise specified as an online course.

MUS-2211-4211 (Fall), MUS-2212-4212 (Winter) – Applied Clarinet

This course includes individual studio instruction of the techniques and artistry of clarinet performance.

Qualifications:

The successful applicant will hold a minimum of a master’s degree in clarinet, experience in both solo and collaborative performance, and a substantial record of successful clarinet teaching at the high school and/or university level.

Preference will be given to qualified candidates with seniority on the UPEI Sessional Roster and full-time and term contract Faculty members of the Academic unit.
