Permanent Clinical Nursing Instructor - Faculty of Nursing
The Faculty of Nursing, University of Prince Edward Island, is now accepting applications for a permanent full-time Clinical Nursing Instructor position. The instructor will provide direct clinical supervision to undergraduate students in acute medical surgical settings. Direct clinical supervision of students may also be required in the Faculty of Nursing, Learning Resource Centre and in primary health care settings including long-term care. This appointment is subject to final budgetary approval.
BScN or BN, current registration or eligibility for registration with College of Registered Nurses of Prince Edward Island (CRNPEI) and at least 3 years of full-time clinical experience. Expertise in adult nursing is required. A valid driver’s license is a requirement. Previous experience in teaching and clinical supervision of students would be an asset.
Start Date: As soon as possible
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, may involve shirt work (days/evenings)
Salary: $43.21 per hour in accordance with the Collective Agreement between the University of Prince Edward Island Board of Governors and The University of Prince Edward Island Faculty Association Bargaining Unit #1
