The Department of Philosophy is seeking applications for a Student Marker for the Winter 2026 semester. The successful candidate will assist with course grading, provide in-person and/or virtual support for the course design.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Marking on-line assignments utilizing marking templates
  • Other duties as required
  • Ongoing communication with instructor

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be a current UPEI student, with preference given to students enrolled in the Faculty of Arts, Major in Philosophy program
  • Must have successfully completed PHIL-3530 Philosophies of Communication or PHIL-3610 Philosophy and Literature
  • Excellent academic performance will be an asset

Priority will be given to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and the Procedures manual.
