The Physics Department is seeking applications for a graduate tutorial assistant(s) for the Winter 2022 term.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as a general resource person for students during the tutorial
  • Assist the course instructor with evaluating written work
  • Graduate students may have other tutorial duties as assigned by the course instructor

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be enrolled in a graduate program with preference given to applicants with a B.Sc. with a Physics major
  • Experience instructing introductory science tutorial or relevant alternative experience
  • Applicants will have successfully completed the course for which they are selected to assist in the tutorial, or have relevant alternative experience
  • Graduate student applicants should hold a B.Sc. (preference will be given to applicants with a Physics major) and have experience in instructing introductory science tutorials

Priority will be given to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and the Procedures manual.
