The Department of Athletics and Recreation is currently creating a list of energetic, outgoing, customer service focused team members to join our Panther Event Staff for the 2021-2022  varsity seasons. The Game Day Coordinator is important in creating and enhancing the atmosphere and overall experience of Panther Events.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Game Day primary contact for Teams, Officials, Facility, Fans and Emergencies
  • Game Day Staff Leader
  • Game Set Up/Tear Down
  • In Game Social Media Communication
  • Coordinate/Lead In-Game Promotions
  • Work closely with Sports Information for requested Photos and Interviews
  • Game Sheet/Score dissemination to Website, Media and AUS
  • Game Video uploading to Video Exchange services

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Understanding of all Game Day and Sport Specific related Information and requirements to ensure compliance and a positive Game Day experience
  • Sport Background
  •  Strong Communicator
  • Enthusiastic, outgoing, well spoken
  • Must be able to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Must be comfortable in large crowds
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time (3-4 hours)
  •  Must be able to work in various weather conditions as some events are held outdoors

Priority will be given to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and the Procedures manual.
