Amazing accomplishments in UPEI's Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering

Two students and one faculty member of UPEI's Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering recently received significant national and international recognition for their academic achievements.

Luke McCarvill, a Class of 2024 graduate from Cornwall, PEI was named a Rhodes Scholar; Berry Genge, a fourth-year student from Lewes, PEI was named a 3M National Student Fellow; and, Dr. Libby (Elizabeth) Osgood, associate professor of engineering was named a 3M National Teaching Fellow.

Berry Genge, a fourth-year UPEI Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering (FSDE) student from Lewes, PEI, has been named a 2024 3M National Student Fellow by the Society for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (STLHE) and 3M Canada.

The University of Prince Edward Island is excited to share the news that undergraduate student Luke McCarvill is one of 11 remarkable young Canadians awarded the prestigious Rhodes Scholarships for Canada this year.
