Caution should be exercised with the termination clause where either party has 30 days to cancel the contract, if you don’t want the Contractor to have the ability to cancel the contract.  If, for instance, you have hired someone to do a particular job that will take 3 months to complete, you may not want to give him/her the ability to terminate with 30 days’ notice.
