Under the direction of the Director of Environment and Natural Resources Supervised by The Manager of Environmental Services, the GIS Technician’s primary responsibility is to create digital, graphic and descriptive products to support resource planning through the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and departmental databases. This position’s work will be focused on Indigenous Protected and Conserved Areas (IPCAs) but will also work on forestry, species-at-risk, climate, agriculture, and other departmental projects.
